As the Academic and Scientific Authority for CMC NEXCOR 2027, the Department of Cardiology – Unit II is responsible for the scientific vision and academic integrity of the conference. Dr. John Jose E is a leader in structural heart disease and interventional cardiology, with a pioneering role in advancing transcatheter valve therapies and complex structural heart interventions in India. Through clinical practice, research, innovation and medical education, he contributes to the advancement of structural heart care.
As Course Director of CMC NEXCOR 2027, he provides overall academic leadership and strategic direction for the summit, guiding its scientific vision and ensuring alignment with the academic and institutional objectives of CMC Vellore.

Dr. Paul V. George is an accomplished clinician, educator and researcher who has contributed to clinical cardiology, postgraduate education and academic research. As the former Head of the Department of Cardiology at CMC Vellore, he brings valuable academic and institutional experience. His commitment to evidence based medicine and medical education reflects CMC Vellore’s longstanding academic tradition.
As Joint Course Director of CMC NEXCOR 2027, he works closely with the Course Director in academic planning, faculty engagement and coordination of the scientific programme, supporting the successful delivery of the summit.

As Organising Secretary of CMC NEXCOR 2027, she oversees conference organisation and coordination, facilitates communication among committees and monitors preparations to support the smooth execution of the summit.
